RESEARCH + TECHNICAL COMMUNICATIONS

Technical Communications is where your complex ideas meet your audience, and your important work is conveyed through clear, impactful words.Â
My approach to writing about STEM and information-dense subject matter is rooted in intention and curiosity. I need to understand your work well enough to find the hook that connects it to the people who need to grasp it. Effective technical communications respect the depth of your research, your discoveries, and your innovative ideas.

Sarah Warren assisted me with a lay version of my abstract about machine learning algorithms developed to understand and predict the micromechanics of mechanical discontinuities in geological porous materials. She created a version of the abstract that was not only accurate but also easy to understand and compelling. Throughout the process, she was receptive to feedback, making adjustments whenever details needed correction.
Sarah’s version of the abstract was part of a nomination that ultimately led to me winning a major grant, which opened up new directions in my career. Her expertise and collaborative approach are valuable to the engineers, scientists, and academics she works with.
